A STRONG delegation led by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Abdul Bulama, Tuesday visited parents of the slain 29 students of Federal Government College (FGC), Buni Yadi, Yobe State which was attacked by Boko Haram insurgents on February 24, 2014. The parley, which held at GAAT Hotel, Damaturu, was also attended by a representative of the principal and a select journalists. Addressing the parents Tuesday in Damaturu, Bulama, who also hails from the state, condoled with the victims and prayed for the souls of the departed ones. According him, he was in the state at the instance of President Goodluck Jonathan, adding that was poised to ending insurgency currently ravaging the region, just as he pledged government’s commitment in ensuring better living for the people through the huge resources accruing from the Victims Support Funds (VSF). He also assured the rebuilding of the learning institution and its equipping with better infrastructure.
